Few vintage movie posters survive. Most of the Swedish posters 1910 to 1965 are known in only 1-5 copies. This is why posters have a value, they are rare. And the better the poster, the higher the value in the future.

What makes a perfect movie poster? A few posters have beautiful or well known art. A few films have a unique quality that will hold for generations. Some movie stars are so famous that we see them as icons.

On rare occasions all of these factors come together in a single poster. We are confident that any such poster will be highly collectable in the future. Swedish poster prices are still low. A collector that buys a quality poster today can look back in 5 to 10 years and be amazed how little he paid for a unique item of movie memorabilia.

The first in the trilogy of the most collected posters from the 1960's. The start of Clint Eastwoods career, the most collected movie star of all.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Walt Disney

First and best Walt Disney feature. Beautiful art, same as on the U.S. original which lists for $5000. The poster was designed by Swedish artist Gustav Tenggren.
Swedish Walt Disney posters are hard to find. They were not considered interesting enough to save for the future.

King Kong
Bruce Cabot, Fay Wray

The most expensive Swedish poster on the international marked. Sold three times for $10.000-$30.000. Five copies are known to exist. Beautiful quality, even better than the original.

North By Northwest (1959)

Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason.
Cary Grant and James Mason at their best in one of the most memorable movies. Stylistic art from a well known scene.

ABBA the Movie (1977)

Lasse Hallström, Agnetha Fältskog, ABBA
One of the first Lasse Hallström movies. Catches the ABBA craze in Australia when ABBA was on top of the world. Great poster art.

Scarface (1983)

Cult movie with Al Pacino at his best. Directed by Brian de Palma, with violent scene of a chainsaw murder. Nice B/W art, same as French poster.

From Here to Eternit y(1953) Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Kerr, Frank Sinatra.
One of the most beautiful Swedish posters of the 50's. Academy Award Winner. The "beach" photo is a legend. The return of Frank Sinatra. This poster has everything!

Foolish Wives (1922)

Erich von Stoheim.
"First $1.000.000 picture". Movie with amazing story and background, directed by Erich von Stroheim.
Original Swedish posters from 1920 to 1940 have beautiful art, often printed in expressive colors using stone litography.
We sold the only know copy of this poster.

Silence of the Lambs (1990)

Anthony Hopkins, Jodie Foster.
Posters from the 80's and 90's are still inexpensive and can be found in mint condition. This is one that will be collected in the future. Academy Award winner. Trendsetting film. New fame for Hopkins. Well known quality poster art.

The first film from a book by Astrid Lindgren, famous for her childrens books. All her books were filmed in the years 1947-93. The first original posters are very collectable.
